PoliRIP

 

PoliRIPTM is an Adobe PostScript 3TM RIP which runs under Windows® XP Professional on the industry standard Intel® Pentium IV platform. It handles even the most complex digital files and outputs them to a PoliJet Inkjet Platesetter. PoliRIPTM can also extend its output capability to a variety of other Platesetters, Imagesetters, Inkjet printers and Plotters.

  • Multi-Task workflow

    • PoliRIP's interface embodies our workflow philosophy : first and foremost, it should be easy to use. It includes a variety of powerful, industry-leading features which are implemented in such a way that prepress operators will actually use them on a day-to-day basis. With PoliRIP's powerful tools, your prepress department can do more and perform more efficiently - and that goes straight to your bottom line.

  • Advance file control

    • PoliRIPTM improves productivity and reduces human error by automating the more tedious and error-prone prepress tasks. PoliRIPTM automates screening settings, trapping, plate templating, imposition (including crop marks, registration marks, color bars, and page information) and application of linearization and dot gain compensation. Once you've applied standard settings in PoliRIPTM, every job goes through the same workflow process, ensuring consistency throughout the production cycle.

  • Single window job view

    • Job View lets you see, at a glance, the status of all the files in PoliRIPTM. You can add new queues and devices, instantly redirect jobs from one device to another, set job options, and impose ripped files. The tabs under Print Queues represent different sets of job options which are applied to incoming jobs - each one shows up as a network print queue. The tabs under Print Devices are for the output devices which PoliRIPTM controls: PoliJet Systems, Inkjet printers, Copiers, and other imaging devices.

  • PoliRIP RemoteTM

    • Using PoliRIP RemoteTM, you can preview, remove, impose, and output jobs from any Windows, MacOS X, or Unix workstation in your shop. PoliRIP RemoteTM can also generate PDF proofs and e-mail them to clients.
